Gwynedd Council Projects

Since 2010, Gwynedd Council has been working hard to reduce its carbon footprint.

This is by implementing a number of projects such as lighting upgrades, insulation, more efficient boilers, voltage optimisation units, and more.

Over the next 5 years, these are some of the new projects that will be introduced to further reduce the Council's carbon footprint.

1. Monitoring and Tageting project, using automatic meters to assist in understanding energy use at different sites and eliminate energy waste.

2. Water saving projects.

3. Hot water pipe insulation.

4. Ceiling insulation.
